The IKA Screening System is perfectly tailored to electrosynthesis with constant current in multibatch mode. The packages with 6 divided pot cells allow you to research several samples at the same time. You can also combine the system with other laboratory equipment.
In the divided electrolysis cells, six divided cells can be used in conjunction with the screening system.
The divided reaction cells consist of a reaction block, which has two separate Elektrodenhalbraume.
These are connected by a glass frit. Thus, an electrochemical reaction may take place, but the reaction liquids remain substantially separate from each other. The mixing of the anolyte and catholyte is thus prevented.
This is of particular interest if the product produced at the counter electrode should not be stable.

The IKA Screening System is perfectly tailored to electrosynthesis with constant current in multibatch mode. The packages with 8 undivided pot cells allow you to research several samples at the same time. You can also combine the system with other laboratory equipment.
The use of the screening system with undivided electrolysis cells allows you to individually configure each individual electrolysis cell.
By means of two DC power sources, which each have four outputs, a voltage of 0 - 32 V or 0 - 10 A current can be set independently. The assembly of the reaction cells takes place either with electrodes of different or the same materials, depending on which electrosynthesis you would like to carry out. The reaction cells are arranged in a heating block, which is heated if necessary via the magnetic stirrer supplied. An external PT 1000 temperature sensor ensures the monitoring and control of the exact heating block temperature.
