In a unique effort, IKA owner René Stiegelmann has partnered with Professor Phil S. Baran of the world-renowned Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. For the past three years, engineers and chemists have been working hand in hand to develop a product that combines two areas of chemistry: electrochemistry and classical preparative organic synthesis, which traditionally do not have much in common.
ElectraSyn 2.0 combines three products in one and will facilitate the acceptance of electrochemistry for preparative organic synthesis: a potentiostat, an analyzer and a stir plate.
The ElectraSyn 2.0 Ready-To-Go package contains everything you need for your first experiment: 10 mL reaction tubes (complete), vial holders and a set of graphite electrodes
Watch the videos below for more introductions.
ElectraSyn 2.0 offers:
standardization
analytical possibilities
modularity
User-friendly control panel
stirring functions
modern equipment
groundbreaking display

Easy transport
There is even more accessories available, including a carousel that allows six parallel reactions, electrodes of various materials and sizes, and vials of 1 to 20 ml.
The IKA ElectraSyn App (available for iPhone and Android) allows you to monitor reactions and CV experiments , the data transfer and various other functions. ElectraSyn is a device that improves over time through regular software updates.
