The latest generation C 1 static jacket combustion calorimeter with a high degree of automation and as little space requirement as no other calorimeter.
It works according to DIN 51900 and ISO 1928, among others.
The evaluation of the temperature measurements follows the classic isoperibolic method according to RegnaultPfaundler. Instead of the usual, comparatively heavy digestion vessel that has to be screwed on and off, it has a light, easily attachable combustion chamber.
Interfaces for PC, scales, and printers allow adaptation to customer-specific wishes or circumstances. The IKA calorimeter software C 6040 Calwin (accessory), which is available separately, enables additional extensions and adaptations, for example in relation to measurement data management and LIMS.
The C 1 Package 1/10 includes the C 1 calorimeter (including the standard combustion chamber C 1.10) and the cooling water supply RC 2 basic.
With the calorimeter we also supply all the necessary parts to install the device. In addition, the device also includes wear parts and consumables for the first 500 tests including 25 calibrations. The C 1.10 combustion chamber is equipped with the large crucible holder C 5010.5 and the large quartz crucible C 6.

The C 1 Package 3/12 enables you to operate the C 1
calorimeter via a cold water connection with drinking water quality in the temperature range from 5 ° C to 25 ° C (water temperature <21 ° C: measuring mode 22 ° C / water temperature> 21 ° C: measuring mode 30 ° C). The water heater included in the scope of delivery ensures that the initial temperature remains constant for every measurement. A separate cooler is therefore not necessary. The water pipe may be connected to the heating with a maximum pressure of 6 bar / 0.6 MPa. If the pressure is higher or not constant, we recommend the C 25 water pressure valve, which is available as an accessory.
